"BAYNOMICS"

Fresh off the heels of a commemorative collaboration with the NFL for Super Bowl LX, the emerging streetwear giant enlisted premier Bay Area talent to produce an ad campaign for a re-release of their popular "SF" hoodies, starring Bay Area rap legend P-Lo.

COTL was entrusted with complete control of the audio treatment cycle for this campaign, utilizing taste and cultural understanding to cement the soundtrack, mix dialogue, and compose sound effects, foley, and background noise to keep Kumar's first-ever scripted effort engaging through its entirety.

"HUMAN vs AI"

Jubilee-style viral ad-marketing for SF-based Wispr AI's voice-dictation application, Wispr Flow.

COTL provided robust and attentive location sound recording for this shoot, which necessitated up to six actors mic'd on-screen at once. Creative solutions for clean and discrete mic placement were necessary on such a clean set with wide angles and whispered and rapped portions of dialogue.

"DNLAiYCitBA"

A viral & successful first attempt at a conceptual video advertisement by Bay Area graphic designer and fashion entrepreneur Brandon Sillona to launch the release of Affiliated & Co.'s Summer 2025 Canvas Zip-Up, resulting in a near-instant sellout and an abundance of new interest in the brand.

In addition to creative control over score and sound design, COTL was tasked with ADR recording and casting voice talent, sound re-designing what was previously only camera audio, and providing a social media-ready re-recording mix.

"MESTIZ: THE PREGAME"

An intimate party series by local event group and budding lifestyle brand Mestiz, highlighting local DJs, vendors, and eateries in community spaces like Top of the Hill's Black and Gold Barber Lounge.

As part of a small-but-talented production team, COTL's role extends from everything live and post-production audio to graphics and projection, production design, talent coordination, and more, with a focus on cultivating both a memorable and tightly-produced in-person experience as well as intentional and refined recorded media for talent to use for their portfolios.

"DAYDREAM LAUNCH"

An Alice In Wonderland-themed launch video for San Francisco-based AI SEO service startup, daydream.

A multi-day set which called forth immense talent in set design, acting, G&E, and camera. Typical boom and lavalier treatment were supplemented by plant mics to capture voice and action, and ADR was rendered on-set to replace lines delivered through difficult wardrobe.

"ALIWORLD"

A 5-part mini-series as part of the rollout and lifecycle of ALIWORLD, the standout sixth album from South San Francisco musician Danny Ali.

Sound design and score were carefully crafted to compliment the moodiness and surrealism of the story, with the objective of cultivating controlled disorientation and psychedelia to highlight each episode's peculiarities within non-supernatural environments. Dialogue and natural sound were recorded in local businesses and public spaces with uncontrollable noise variables, necessitating lots of repair and clean-up within Izotope RX.

"YOUR COMET"

An intimate acoustic live-music video debut of Vallejo's Aaron Allen as a solo musician, featuring a cover of John Mayer's "In Your Atmosphere" and Allen's own "Your Comet," filmed as a one-shot at sunset, lit by fire and pulsing lamp light.

A mix of hidden field microphones, novel lavalier placement, and intimate boom operation made for clean, effective capture of Allen's voice and skillful guitar, made complete with a discrete mix and master and ambience supplementation.
